These are the best chocolate chip cookies you'll ever make! Crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside, and loaded with chocolate chips.
Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, beat butter and both sugars until creamy.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract, beat well.
- Gradually blend in the flour mixture.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased cookie sheets.
- Bake for 9-11 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cool on baking sheet for 2 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
Notes
For extra chewy cookies, slightly underbake them. They'll continue cooking on the hot pan after you remove them from the oven. Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
